High School Youth Group
The High School Youth Group is open to students from the public high school system, home schools, or O'Gorman High School. If students who are not parishioners at Christ the King wish to join, please reach out (contact information below), we would be glad to have you! As your child pursues excellence in academics, athletics, and/or extracurriculars, please do not forget that their relationship with Jesus Christ & His Church is the most important investment they can make!
While the home ought always be the primary area of faith formation, we invite you to come be formed as a disciple of Jesus Christ alongside other high school peers! Join us for Sacred Scripture, new friends, fun activities, and prayer!
Youth Group will meet in the Campus Ministry Lounge on Wednesday evenings from 6:40 to 7:50 PM - approximately every other week - beginning in August. Specficially, the weeks that we do not have Confirmation Class we will have Youth Group! If you would like to get updates about Youth Group on our Flocknote text messaging service text CTKYOUTH to 84576.

Confirmation Classes
The CTK parish Confirmation program is for ALL 10th grade students. We will meet for classes twice a month beginning prior to the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation in the spring. Confirmation classes will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:40 to 7:50 PM. Class dates are listed below. Please mark these dates on your calendar and make every effort to attend all of these classes.
Attending a Confirmation retreat is absolutely necessary in order to be confirmed. We will offer a retreat at our parish on December 1st and 2nd to fulfill this. Other acceptable retreat options include a SEARCH retreat in the fall and a Confirmation Retreat at Broom Tree (near Irene, SD).
Each student should also be praying and discerning who their Confirmation Sponsor and Patron Saint will be. These decisions should be made with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, through prayer and thought.
